This weekend is my superb fianc\u00e9e’s birthday (well today it is, but it’s a weekend so it becomes a weekend affair.) Last night we went to eat at Browns in Leeds, I had rare lamb, and I mean rare, I’ve never had it so uncooked before, was good though! It came with broccolli and potatoes dauphinoise which went down a treat! Jared had a 28 day aged rib eye steak (he always has steak), my mother had the seafood platter which she did not enjoy and my sister had a pasta dish she seemed to love. All in all it was a nice meal (except my mother’s, she said it was far too much like tinned food.)<\/p>\n

Today was Lightwater Valley<\/a>, which was a great day out, Jared had no idea where we were going until we arrived so that was a good surprise for him, we had a really good day, my mother screamed so much I was in tears. I love a ride a lot more when other people on it scream or laugh, it just makes it feel so much more enjoyable.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow is going to be Xscape, Castleford with some of his friends from his workplace, laser quest, bowling, neon golf and possibly the cinema too (if we do the cinema, it’ll be to see 9.) The best thing about tomorrow though is no work for me! I took a holiday off so I could do stuff with Jared for his birthday.<\/p>\n

So far a great weekend, he loved his gift (DKNY watch and some soapy stuff from Lush.) Will be a shame when it’s over.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
